Austin, TX, May 19th — RFD announced today that it was awarded a place as a preferred vendor on the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Court Case Management Software contract. DIR’s primary function is to assist state agencies and local governments with cost-effective purchasing options for information resources by negotiating, managing, and administering contracts with information technology vendors. In April of 2007, DIR announced that it was seeking responses from potential vendors to provide Court Case Management Software and related services through DIR.
“We knew immediately that this was a perfect opportunity to introduce the State of Texas to Bull Service’s Judge’s e-Bench solutions,” said Melissa Marshall, Director of Business Development for RFD. “As with all products and services that RFD has represented through DIR’s GoDirect program, we are delighted to deliver another quality product that will ultimately improve governance for the citizens of Texas.”
RFD’s array of software and service offerings to DIR and the State of Texas includes powerhouse products like BEA’s Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions and CA|Wily’s enterprise application management solutions. RFD has also offered staffing services through DIR’s IT Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC) since August of 2006.
Bull’s Judge’s e-Bench product is designed to enhance the day-to-day operational and managerial tools needed by a Judge. Judge’s e-Bench places all relevant information at the Judge’s fingertips, including access to the case management systems of the Court, summary case and defendant history, and information from other justice agencies.
